Orange Defeat Tigers 74-57

Syracuse came out slow, but was able to right the ship in the second half, finishing strong to beat Memphis by 17. Johnson put up 19 and was the Orange’s leading scorer. Both Johnson and Jackson pulled down 7 boards tonight, Arinze had 8 and Joseph led the Orange with 9. Joseph made a strong case for non-starting player of the game scoring 15 points and going 7-8 from the line.

The Orange defense stepped up in second half limiting the Tigers to just 25 points. Syracuse pulled away in the second half outscoring Memphis by 17 and never looked back.

Syracuse hosts the USF Bulls on Sunday. The games at 2pm.

    I agree 100% that Joseph should be starting! He definitely added a spark that the Orange needed in the second half.

    Jardine & Joseph are playing really good ball as of late. But reason for concern is THE BIGS are’nt finishing plays like they should (to many missed opportunities in close), & what’s up w/ Rautins and all these turnovers lately?
